Ok so what happened.
I'm a tired mom with a business, and I needed a website. Wix first. For me it was clunky, things I moved kept jumping back, and it was too expensive for one site. Then others, all a little bit constricting. Then Showit, I loved it, drag anything anywhere, but the phone version is not automatic and for me it was very expensive. Squarespace, so elegant, but always too expensive for me, I never even tried.
Everything else was too complicated for me, or too simple and looking like everyone else.
My own website took me six months. Six months!!
What was missing: the branding
And here is the thing. None of the builders I tried did the branding.
They give you a template and empty boxes. And then you sit there. What do I write? Who is this for? Why would somebody buy from me and not from the other one?
Pretty is not enough. A pretty website that doesn't sell is just... pretty.
And branding is the part I know. I worked 10 years in branding, with big brands. And after 10 years, it's crazy how it all points out two things. Know your client, and put your client first. And know how to answer their doubts.
So how did it happen
By accident, honestly.
Basically, I built a website builder for myself. For what I needed. AI is my magic wand, but the wand is only the tool. What went inside is my 10+ years of brand building.
Because it's not only my website. My website is the entry point to my brandverse. I'm building my brand with it.
