I've been where you are. I was overwhelmed.
Every builder says "AI" now. But some write a draft from one sentence, some ask you three questions, and some still drop you in a design tool. So we compared the thirteen AI website builders that come up most, on what matters when you're busy: how the AI starts your site, how easy it is after, and what one site really costs.
By Aliya, founder of Big Cat. Prices up to date: October 2026. Next update: January 2027. Big Cat is ours, and it's in this list: judge it harder than the others.
The quick answer
- Easiest, looks like you: Big Cat (ours), it starts from a design you love
- Easiest on a tiny budget: Hostinger AI (check the renewal)

The AI website builders, ranked by how complicated they are
From easiest (1) to most complicated (13), for someone with no design or coding background. Prices are the cheapest plan for one site on your own domain, from each official page. Prices up to date: October 2026, in the currency it showed us.
| AI rank | Builder | How complicated? | How the AI starts your site | Editing after | Price for 1 site |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Big Cat (ours) | Very easy | A design you love: a site, a screenshot, a Pinterest board | Drag anything, or ask the cat | €12/mo, or €10/mo paid every 6 months |
| 2 | Hostinger AI | Very easy | A few lines about your business | Drag and drop | US$2.49/mo on 48 months, renews $10.99 |
| 3 | Durable | Very easy | A few questions about your business | Sections, or ask the AI | US$22/mo yearly, $25 monthly, domain included |
| 4 | GoDaddy Airo | Very easy | Your business details | Sections | Intro price, renews higher |
| 5 | Squarespace Blueprint | Easy | Questions, then its templates | Flexible grid | €14.40/mo yearly |
| 6 | Readdy | Easy | A prompt, a screenshot or a link | Chat with the AI | US$15/mo yearly, $25 monthly, credits |
| 7 | Wix AI | Medium: lots of menus | A chat about your business | Drag anywhere | about US$17/mo yearly |
| 8 | Relume | Medium: made for designers | A prompt, then a sitemap and wireframes | Visual editor, or export to Webflow or Figma | US$14/mo (Pro) + US$12/mo for your own domain |
| 9 | Lovable | Medium: you edit by chatting | A chat prompt | Chat, credits | €25/mo (Pro), credits |
| 10 | Bolt | Medium: code underneath | A chat prompt | Chat and code, tokens | US$25/mo (Pro) |
| 11 | Replit | Complicated: made for apps | A chat prompt to its Agent | Chat and code | US$20/mo, $18 yearly, plus hosting use |
| 12 | Webflow AI | Complicated: a pro design tool | A prompt, then the Webflow Designer | Structured layout, AI credits | US$15/mo yearly (Basic) |
| 13 | Framer AI | Complicated, for non-designers | A prompt, then a design canvas | Free canvas | US$10/mo yearly |
What this chart shows that most lists don't: how the AI starts. That decides whether your site looks like you or like everyone else. Most start from a sentence or a questionnaire. Readdy can also take a screenshot or a link. Big Cat is built around it: it takes the feeling of a design you love and makes a new site that's yours, never a copy.
The other catch: Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Readdy and Webflow's AI run on credits or tokens. Every change you ask for uses some. Edit a lot, and you'll top up.
How we compared
- Big names first: builders with millions of users or a big brand behind them, plus Readdy, which people ask us about.
- Prices: official pricing pages, read in October 2026: cheapest plan for one site on your own domain without the builder's badge, plus the renewal where it's higher.
- Features: official pages first. Where a page didn't say, we didn't guess.
- "How complicated": our reading for a non-designer, from the steps each builder asks you to take.
- Videos and reviews: the five popular comparison videos we checked all carry affiliate or partner links. We used them, but gave more weight to official pages and user threads.
The 13 AI builders, one by one
1. Big Cat (ours)
How it starts: from a design you love. A website that gives you chills, a screenshot, your Pinterest board. Big Cat reads its feeling (proportions, type, space, mood) and builds your site with your own words, photos and offers. It never copies the site you showed it. After: drag anything anywhere, or ask the cat by voice or text. The phone version is done for you. Inside: a brand strategist. It writes in the tone you choose, puts the page in an order that sells, and adds the legal pages. Price: €12/mo, or €10/mo when you pay every 6 months (€60). 7-day free trial, no card. Where it hurts: we're new, so fewer apps than the big names. One website, up to 10 pages, on the first plan. Not for a big shop with hundreds of products.
2. Hostinger AI
How it starts: a few lines about your business. Price: US$2.49/mo on a 48-month term, then US$10.99/mo. Good: very cheap to start, simple, hosting and domain together. Watch: the renewal price; designs can look generic.
Aliya's take: way too simplistic for me, but really cheap. I put some of my simple sites there.
3. Durable
How it starts: a few questions about your business, then a whole site in about a minute. Durable says 3 million businesses are built on it. Price: US$22/mo yearly, or $25 monthly (Launch), your own domain included. Good: made for small service businesses: site, contact forms, invoices and a simple CRM together. Watch: sites follow its own sections, so many look alike.
4. GoDaddy Airo
How it starts: your business details. GoDaddy is one of the biggest names in domains. Price: an intro price that renews higher; check the page for your country. Good: online very fast, close to your domain. Watch: basic, section-based designs.
5. Squarespace Blueprint
How it starts: a few questions, then Squarespace's templates. Price: €14.40/mo yearly on Basic (EU page). Good: polished, hard to make ugly. Watch: you can't place things exactly where you want.
Aliya's take: amazing, absolutely. But for one website it was always too expensive for me.
6. Readdy
How it starts: a prompt, a screenshot or a reference link. Price: US$15/mo yearly or $25 monthly (Starter: one site, your own domain), credit-based. Good: design-focused results, built-in forms and bookings. Watch: a smaller company with no public user numbers; credits for every change.
7. Wix AI
How it starts: a chat about your business. Wix says it has over 250 million users. Price: about US$17/mo yearly on Light. Good: the most tools: store, bookings, email. Watch: lots of menus; it looks like a Wix site unless you work on it.
Aliya's take: Wix was my first. For me it was clunky, and things I moved kept jumping back.
8. Relume
How it starts: a prompt, then a sitemap and wireframes (the plan of your pages), then the design. Relume says it's trusted by over 1 million users, mostly designers and agencies. Price: US$14/mo (Pro), plus from US$12/mo to put the site on your own domain without the Relume badge. Good: the clearest page plan of any AI builder; you can also send the design to Webflow or Figma. Watch: it's made for designers who plan sites for clients. For a busy owner, a lot of steps before a finished site.
9. Lovable
How it starts: you describe what you want in a chat, it writes the site (as code). About 8 million users, as reported in late 2025. Price: €25/mo on Pro (your own domain, no badge), with monthly credits. Good: fast, impressive, great for apps and prototypes. Watch: every change is a chat message that uses credits; brand, words and legal pages are up to you. More on Lovable for a business site.
10. Bolt
How it starts: a chat prompt; it builds the site or app in code. Over 7 million users, as reported in December 2025. Price: US$25/mo on Pro (your own domain, no Bolt branding). Good: powerful, real code you own. Watch: you see code; tokens run out if you edit a lot.
11. Replit
How it starts: a chat prompt to its Agent. Replit reports over 50 million users. Price: US$20/mo, or $18/mo billed yearly (Core), plus hosting usage. Good: builds real apps, databases, anything. Watch: it's made for apps and developers; a lot for a simple brand site.
12. Webflow AI
How it starts: a prompt; the AI drafts the pages, then you work in the Webflow Designer. Price: US$15/mo yearly (Basic site plan); some AI features use credits. Good: professional sites, strong SEO, loved by agencies. Watch: it's a pro design tool. You'll need to learn how it thinks, or hire someone who knows it.
13. Framer AI
How it starts: a prompt, then a professional design canvas. Price: US$10/mo yearly. Good: beautiful, motion, total freedom. Watch: it's a design tool. Great if you design, a lot if you don't.
Aliya's take: way too complicated for me, even if it has great potential.
Why I made Big Cat the way it is
I'm a tired mom with a business. I needed six things: beautiful, easy, drag and drop, the phone version done for me, connected to my tools, and a fair price for one site. And above all, a site that looks like me.
Most AI builders start from a sentence or a few questions, and the result looks like everyone else's. So Big Cat starts from your taste. The full story is here.
