Website for coaches: what you really need

Ok so. You're a coach. You're good at what you do. And your website is... somewhere. Maybe a link in bio. Maybe an old page you don't want to send.

Aliya, November 2026.

I've been doing brands for more than ten years. And I see it all the time with coaches: the work is amazing, the website is not them.

The good news, a coach website doesn't need to be big. It needs to be you.

What your coach website needs (really)

  1. Who you help. One sentence. Not everybody. Your person.
  2. Your story. Why you do this. People buy from people.
  3. Your offer. What it is, how it works, the price or "let's talk".
  4. A booking button. Calendly, Cal.com, whatever you use. Easy to find, on every screen.
  5. What clients say. Your client deserves to know how good you are.
  6. A free guide. Something small for people who are not ready yet, so they can stay with you by email.
  7. The phone version. Most of your people will open it on the phone. From Instagram. In the evening.

That's it. You don't need ten pages.

The most important part

It has to feel like you.

Everything is about your client. If you're stuck, you probably talking to the wrong crowd, or your language is off. A template with somebody else words and somebody else colors makes it worse. Your person comes, doesn't feel it, leaves.

How I'd do it now

Yes, Big Cat is mine, I'm biased.

You paste a website you love. Another coach you admire, a brand you love, a screenshot, your Pinterest board. Big Cat takes the feeling and makes your site with your words and photos. It never copies the other site.

The brand strategist inside writes in your tone. Warm, direct, funny, whatever you are. You plug your booking link (Cal.com, Calendly) and your email tool (MailerLite, Mailchimp). The phone version is done by itself. The legal pages too.

And then you change anything. Drag it, or ask the cat.

That's why Big Cat exists, so your website finally sounds like you and not like a template.

Questions people ask

What should a coach website include?

Who you help, your story, your offer, a booking button, what clients say, a small free guide for your email list, and a phone version that works well. That's enough to start.

What is the best website builder for coaches?

It depends on what you need. Squarespace is polished, Wix has many tools, Showit is creative, Kajabi puts courses and emails together. Big Cat makes a site that looks like you from a design you love, with booking and email tools plugged in.

How many pages does a coach website need?

One long page is often enough at the start: who you help, story, offer, testimonials, booking. You can add more pages later.

Can I add my Calendly or Cal.com booking to Big Cat?

Yes. You plug your booking link into your site, and the button works on the computer and the phone.
